I would absolutely recommend this place. I’ve ordered via Uber Eats 3 times & every time my food is FRESH, hot & good. The seasoning on their French fries is like no OTHER. It is now my 2nd favorite Vermont fry - it would be #1 if it was crinkle cut 😂. Then, you have the mix shawarma platter - OMG!!! The beef and chicken are outstanding alone but TOGETHER!!! Family, together is a 10 out of 10! And it’s so much food. Definitely can share with other or divide for multiple meals. To have a restaurant in Vermont that sticks to their cultural preparations with seasoning, flavor and quality. This is what it’s all about. I understand one has to cater to their audience but we also need experiences and I believe this is one! Shoutout to Nomads & their amazing team.

Nomads is a great, casual spot downtown for lunch or dinner. My family had dinner there and my daughter, who is 10, tried falafel for the first time in their wrap and loved it! My son, who is 7, had the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce, and we all agreed they were cooked perfectly and were delicious. He rated it 10/10 which is hard to get from this boy! I would recommend the chicken shish tawook wrap. The sauce really makes it! My husband enjoyed the beef shawarma Egyptian style. And finally- milkshakes! The date shake is really a must try! I ordered it because I had never seen anything like it before, and it is so delicious. I have had it twice now, and I will definitely keep going back for it!

Nomad’s has one of the best shawarma wraps I have ever tried in my life. Amr was very helpful and kind. He provided great service to us!
I’ve tried Nomads a couple of times now and will definitely be back. I would recommend the chicken shawarma platter- the sauce really makes it. The Nomads burger is juicy and has beef bacon which is hard to find around here. And finally the baklava is really delicious! They’re open late (3am on weekends) which is perfect.
My hubby and I are originally from Chicago - and do we ever miss our favorite Mediterranean spots. Nomads to the rescue! We were served by Amr. He warmly guided us through the menu options and had a lovely chat about tea and regional preferences. The atmosphere is simple, modern, and inviting. The food is reasonably priced for the amount. It's easy to dine-in or takeout. The food is delicious and radiates the aroma of the spices we love and can be hard to find in Vermont. We are already planning our next visit!
